The story of Jutel began when two brothers, Jorma and Reijo Kivelä, and their business partner, Timo Turunen, founded the company in 1984. The business idea at the time was to provide turn-key broadcasting systems for commercial radio stations in Finland. In the 1990s, Jutel decided to concentrate on radio automation software, and the JUTEL RadioMan software became our main product.
Nowadays, Jutel is a modern software house and one of the world’s most experienced suppliers of radio station automation and digital radio broadcast solutions. Our customer base consists of public radio broadcasters, commercial radio stations and networks, system integrators, and audio distribution service providers in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa.
